How OT can help with Home Modifications

Sometimes a simple piece of equipment is all you need to be able to accomplish a task. We can help by clinically assessing your home, using our Occupational Therapy background, to determine what equipment you may need. Equipment can be simple or complex. Examples might range from a booklight to a mixing bowl that suction cups to your counter, allowing you to mix with one hand!

Community Health

Last week was National Public Health Week. One of the main focus topics was engaging policymakers to focus on health within communities. OT's are a key part of public health as we help people solve life problems in all types of contexts: hospitals, rehab centers, city planning for accessibility, and advocating for accessibility for all with local policymakers!
